This piece was inspired by my need of a great massage to recover from the long flight across the Atlantic from Rome to Los Angeles! My back was pretzel, believe you me!
After returning from Italy in January 2004, I stayed at the home of my dear friend, Judy, who graciously allowed me to spread out some paper and wood scraps on the driveway outside of her garage! I threw out my acrylics and art paraphernalia—and got into a mess of colors—(I DO mean BIG FAT mess!)
