On the Carolina Atlantic Shores, my family and I traveled each summer of my childhood years, swimming in the warm Southern beaches of Virginia and North Carolina!
My siblings and I learned to love chasing the waves and sunlight, as we grew deeply tanned and ever more relaxed, building castles and collecting glass “pop” bottles for the pennies they brought us at the small grocer nearby!
