LOVE OF COLOR was inspired by Rest. It is a series of 110 paintings studying color and reduction primarily in acrylic and pastel. Each painting has 5-15 layers of gestural lines reduced by color washes to varying degree. I hope this series gives people a space to rest while enjoying the simplicity and love of color.
