Herb (10x10) This is one of my all time favourite photos to paint. There’s no second guessing on background choice (it’s water) and I get to use all my favourite colours. I especially like how the dark, shadowy, red works to make the bright, orangey/red pop. It also helps to have the complimentary green in his face too. I just wish I had more swimming salmon pictures to work from.
