Bruce was a surprise gift/commission for a family who was heading back to their homeland of New Zealand. My client wanted me to paint a moose, and include a moose crossing sign, as a reminder of their drives up to the cabin, and their unsuccessful attempts at spotting a moose. I admit I got a bit attached to this one - he totally reminds me of my trips to the cottage too.
