Jan Vermeer was a badass! He is one of my favorite artists. I tried to pay homage to him with this piece. I recently watched a movie about him. Well, it was more about "The Girl with the Pearl Earring." That was the title actually. It starred a young Scarlett Johannson.

A few years ago I painted Vermeer's "Girl with Pearl Earring." Instead of a woman, I painted a squirrel, with pearl earring. Hehe :)
