This was the bottom of a box that a Bible came in. I find it a peculiar thing that this box was designed and built to be discarded.

I kept my bible in it for a few years to protect the faux leather. I decided that it would not all go to the trash. It may not ever go to the Louvre, but perhaps this object's purpose can be changed for something better, much better. Perhaps this piece of art, and myself, have something in common.
