From a former collection in Portugal. Comb from the Abron, a sub-group of the Akan people located on the border between Ghana and the Ivory Coast. Renowned for their very little figurines in bronze, their style is similar to that of the Kulango. This comb is topped by a figurine, quite similar to the ones used to weigh gold. This authentic comb is decorated with linear motifs.
