When you find a magical stream high in the mountains that seems to be emerging from the granite itself, you think " this is The Source". And that is what I have named the two paintings I have painted of this scene - this one in watercolor and gouache and the other in oil. I long to return to this place in the Sierra Nevada Mountains but I'm not sure I would be able to find it again!
