The Sonoran Desert - arid, prickly, unwelcoming - and in summer, the hottest of hot! Yet, in spring the Palo Verde trees bloom in masses of golden blossoms. In a spring with timely and just the right amount of rain, the wildflowers explode. Sonoran Gold represents a delightful spring day - not yet hot - with bees buzzing in the gold blooms and the sun bleaching the near-white rocks and boulders of a Sonoran Desert wash.
