Creek Below the Bridge III is a small painting of a little water cascade I found at the bottom of a short hike down to the creek from Midgley Bridge in Oak Creek Canyon. This magical creek is home to thousands of such water cascades – this particular little gem of a pool and series of small waterfalls, with sunlight glinting on its enchanting splashes and exposed roots of a gnarly old tree were my painting delight. Indeed, I have painted several versions of this small spot on the creek - and I might do another!
