I fell in love with the North Shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota last summer. What can I say? The vast lake, the waterfalls emptying into it, the forests, the abundant wildflowers! The wild roses growing on the rocky banks inspired me to paint a watercolor and this oil, Wild Rose Cove II.
