I fell in love with the North Shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota last summer. What can I say? The vast lake, the waterfalls emptying into it, the forests, the abundant wildflowers! The wild roses growing on the rocky banks inspired me to paint an oil and this watercolor, Wild Rose Cove II.
