I See You is a limited-edition archival print derived from the original artwork of the same title, centered on the act of perceiving another human being without judgment or imposed identity. The work proposes a mode of seeing that moves beyond societal constructs—such as money, gender, nationality, religion, or age—returning instead to an essential recognition of the individual grounded in presence and human connection
The focus on the eye reflects its enduring symbolic role as a gateway to inner life. Within certain contemplative and Kundalini-based practices, attention is directed to the left eye, understood to be connected to the heart and emotional presence. This work draws from that tradition, positioning the gaze as a site of direct, unmediated connection.
Rather than describing a specific person, the image operates as an invitation: to pause, to look, and to encounter another at the level of presence rather than projection. In this sense, I See You is less about representation and more about relation.
At its core, the work asserts that human connection—stripped of assumption and categorization—remains one of the most essential and transformative experiences available to us.
