This painting is about longing and belonging and also trust. It makes me feel excited and save at the same time and inspires me to take a leap of faith. What do you feel looking at it?

The soundtrack of Baz Luhrmann's "Moulin Rouge" is one of my all time favorites! Especially "Come What May" gets me every time and inspired me to paint this new work as part of an ongoing series inspired by music.
