The deep shadows of a snow-laden forest cross a train track heading into the light. I was drawn to paint this because of the tranquil atmosphere of the fresh snow, with the warm sunlight and deep shadows crossing the tracks.
Framed in soft black with subtle metal accents that bring out the highlights in the snow.
