This piece was painted upside down. Only after it dried did I realize it was the view of Mount Blanca from our own window. A familiar giant rendered strange by orientation. The bold sky and jagged strokes tilt memory into mystery. It’s a mirror turned landscape, and somehow, it still feels like home.
