In the vibrant hues of my oversized flower painting, I found echoes of my mom's peonies, climbing roses, and geraniums. Much like her garden, Mom's generosity knew no bounds; our porch was always open to visitors. As I painted the amaryllis-inspired blossom, its four opening petals reminded me of a compass. No matter where life led, a call to Mom was my way back home. This May, my brush moved in her honor, creating "Compass Rose," a tribute to her enduring spirit and the unwavering direction she gave my life.
