Inspired by patterns and bright colors this piece tapped into my artistic intuition. During the creative process I believe I was searching for hidden meaning, expressing emotion and exploring themes related to rediscovery, and nostalgia. The artwork on paper is a blend of watercolor and acrylic paints and features a dominant gray background for depth and mystery. The focal point is a striking shape adorned with gold, yellow, and green accents. From the bottom of the artwork ladders ascend adding whimsy and intrigue.
