This painting marks my return to painting in earnest in 2019. It is a portrait of a remarkable mustang I volunteer caring for at Windhorse Relations in Ivins, UT. He is the shyest and most fearful and most beautiful of the herd of approximately 30 American wild horses. I was personally pleased enough with this painting to continue on and have been working steadily ever since.
