Spring in the Lowcountry marshes is like watching nature slowly come out of a deep sleep. The tall grasses start shaking off their dull winter colors, turning fresh and green. On sunny days, the water sparkles, mirroring the clear blue skies.
You can spot bursts of colorful flowers here and there, making the whole place look like it's been sprinkled with nature's own paint. And the birds are back, chirping away and filling the air with their lively tunes.
There's a sea-salty breeze that rolls in, bringing with it the sweet smell of new blooms. The longer days see the marshes buzzing with life - frogs getting chatty, fish making tiny splashes and everything just feeling alive and alert. The sounds can almost be heard now just thinking about it.
