Share story about this A cherished memory of time spent at my grandparent's farm as a child is about playing outside in the vast green land and walking to the pond. One day while walking with my siblings we spotted a snake. It must have been a humorous sight to see the way we broke out into a run and ended up at the pond faster than usual. Hahaha! As I recall the snake, it was probably completely harmless.
One of my favorite seasons was Fall when the cattails surrounded parts of the pond. I thought they were the most beautiful things and looked velvety to me. In high school home economics class, we made a wreath using corn shucks and cattails. It was my favorite wreath for years into adulthood.
