This work is made from a discard sign of a homeless person in NYC collected in 2009. This piece questions the rising costs of living and the lack of affordable housing for lower income people. Over the last eight years most of the housing built has been luxury apartments unaffordable to most middle class family forcing then out of the city and further out into the suburbs.
