What’s one of your favorite meals, food experiences, or fast food stops? Mine was the first time I tried Inn and Out Burger visiting the West Coast for the first time At 16 years old. That was almost 20 years ago now but that memory of the people I was with and food that we enjoyed has stayed with me. It wasn't a chain at that time, but more like a small food truck style place set up in a parking lot. It only had a couple menu options that were made fresh to order out of local ingredients. This wasn't popular at the time. This painting "Inn and Out" features Marlin free in nature - searching for their favorite meal. Marlin are incredibly intelligent and as I painted this and reflected on these memories, I hoped that they enjoyed their fresh catch as much as I enjoyed my Inn and Out Burger.
