On Thursday, October 27, from 6 pm - 9 pm, BRUN is showcasing brilliant work by Jowarnise. The night’s event will include sounds by The Heavy Hitter, DJ Lonnie B. Live music will be provided by Jose Pomier & Co., with live painting by our featured artist on stage! The completed piece will be for sale.
Ticket prices are tiered to include the complete experience at $40 for a wine and whiskey tasting, in addition to heavy-passed appetizers. $25 for general admission.

Exhibit Statement:
I paint when my words fail to convey a progression fully that I both experience and bear witness to. With each painting, I push past self-imposed boundaries like society slowly breaks long-held beliefs that limit women and ethnicities.
My work shares the stories of a progression underway at the intersection of ethnicity and gender that transcends limitations and reveals endless possibilities which impact my development.
