Art Under the Pines

3rd Annual Group Exhibition presented by Pine Camp Cultural Arts & Community Center

Art Under the Pines

Pine Camp Cultural Arts & Community Center will have the third annual free group exhibition featuring pieces from the Richmond artistic community at Pine Camp Arts and Community Center on Saturday, October 22, from 12 - 4 PM in the Sculpture Garden on the Pine Camp campus!

Featured artists Khalid Thompson, Unicia Buster, and Jowarnise will be on-site during the opening event to speak to attendees about their work and answer questions about their artistic process. In addition to the featured art outside, join us inside the Spotlight Gallery for this month’s feature gallery, “Looking Inward: The Human Experience,” from the Black American Artist Alliance of Richmond, a collection of artwork created by some of Richmond’s best Black artists.

While at the event, you can participate in interactive artist workshops and browse work from local craft vendors, all while enjoying food by the Bikini Panini and musical entertainment provided by the Larri Branch Trio.

There is a playground across the street from the field where families can grab lunch, look at the art, play on the playground, and have a fun afternoon at Art Under The Pines. There is also a beautiful nature trail at Pine Camp, right beside the parking lot. Attendees can go for a stroll, likely see a deer or two, and adventure while they’re on site
