Evergreens, Weeping Willows, grasses, and water lilies are all part of this landscape painting, taken from an original photo from September 2019. Giverny is a well-known place in the art world, home of the impressionist painter Claud Monet.
Monet painted water lilies as a symbol of peace and as a place of refuge during World War 1. After Armistice Day, November 11, 1918, Monet donated 12 huge paintings of this garden and of water lilies to France as a symbol of peace.
