"Station 9 Access" was captured on the southern shore of Sullivan's Island, near Fort Moultrie, as I was on the hunt for something distinct. The day was winding down, with the sun slowly sinking toward the horizon, so I decided to venture further south along the beach. As I walked, I stumbled upon a wooden bridge stretching over a rock jetty, offering a path to the beach at low tide. It was the perfect subject at just the right moment. The sky was filled with dramatic clouds, and the colors were rich and vibrant, so I knew a long exposure would do the trick. The technique smoothed out the water and allowed the clouds to streak across the sky, creating a sense of movement. The bridge points toward the shipping channel that enters Charleston Harbor, with the Morris Island Lighthouse visible in the distance. The calm water and gentle hues of the sky evoke a peaceful, serene atmosphere, making this piece an ideal addition for any space that aims to bring a feeling of tranquility and a deeper connection to nature.
