Artist's statement about piece:
Blowboy was a happy accident. He began as just a regular portrait, but when things weren't going the way i'd planned i gave up and just started playing around. Eventually i realized that i liked the finished piece more than the one i'd originally intended. The acrylic is layered on thick so this guy has some weight and texture.
