Note from Johnny Rogers: This is a piece that I like to spend time with. The texture of a dried leaf and the palette of a forest floor add depth and meaning to the completed work. In my artwork, I hope the viewer pauses to explore each section of the composition and see the layers and mystery beneath the surface of the painting, as well as the human experience.
