This tree is a near exact replica of a tree found on Ridgewood Road in South Orange New Jersey. My mother, despite her beautiful gardens coveted this tree. It is replicated in the height of the spring bloom, just as she was when my mother would lose herself gazing at her in the desire for something he could not have. The replicated tree is placed / planted in one of my mother’s grilled cheese pans. For me, her grilled cheeses were my comfort. This tree stuck with me and reminds me that beauty and ease is best appreciated where it stands and there is no need for possession.
