Snowy Mountains Boulders

I have spent my life driving past the amazing rocks and boulder formations of the Snowy Mountains, taking 1000’s of photos. Although there were some great pictures,I always felt their true colour was never captured.
I started experimenting with different mediums and after many experiments found oil pastels gave me the ability to bring out the colours I wanted.
The amazing rock formations around the Monaro and Snowy Mountains are fascinating, their whole look can change as soon as the weather and sky changes. This stand of rocks near Dalgety looks different every time I pass. Sometimes they are bright orange and yellow, others grey and black, always eye catching.
