Ghost Ranch, one of my favorite places in New Mexico. It is where Georgia was living and painting as I was studying her work during my college art school days in the 1970's - she was still alive then - working right here . To be able to go to Ghost Ranch after moving here, and trace her footsteps after focusing on her work in my studies, as she was still living there, was life-changing for me as an artist. Here is a view, with some liberties taken in my painting of the brilliance of the area and it's spectacular cliffs. I imagine her looking at these same formations as inspiration.
