Ancient Rings 79 is a kiln-formed glass vessel that embodies the interplay of structure and fluidity. The design unfolds across a canvas of ivory rings, providing a rhythmic foundation for the flowing patterns that emerge. Aquamarine Blue accents trace the vessel’s curvature, imparting a sense of movement and depth.

Framing the composition, bold Aquamarine Blue linear elements guide the eye through its intricate design. Within this framework, precisely arranged square Aquamarine Blue inlays form cascading arcs, adding depth and geometric balance to the organic structure.

The vessel’s form is achieved through a deep slumping process, subtly transforming the initial layout into a sculptural presence that shifts with perspective. The meticulous craftsmanship, from the precision-cut elements to the final polished finish, invites exploration of the dynamic relationship between order and spontaneity.

Part of the evolving Ancient Rings series, this piece speaks to the continuity of time, pattern, and material, capturing a moment in the ever-expanding narrative of glass.
