This stunning glass vessel is kilnformed from over 18,000 small (3/8 x 3/8 inch) squares cut from 1/8 inch think sheet glass. The pieces are fused togher iat 1450 F, slumped at 1250 F in three steps in sucessively deeper molds. After the kiln the top edge is coldworked and polished.

For some it brings to mind a pueblo and the blue sky of the American southwest.
