A subject of spirituality and philosophy across different cultures and traditions for thousands of years, the vessel form represents a container that holds something, whether it be physical, spiritual, or emotional

Patiently assembled over days, thousands of 3/8th inch pieces are hand cut from glass sheets. The pieces are arranged, fused together in a kiln at 1490°F., and shaped in three successively deeper molds at 1175°F. Finally the lip is coldworked with diamonds and then polished. Over two weeks from start to finished, the kilnformed vessel evokes the pattern of ancient rings holding multi-colored windows.
