Three woman collaborative art exhibition

Greenville Museum of Art show 2021

The Greenville Museum of Art (NC) will host a three woman collaborative art show by Jillian Goldberg, Constance Pappalardo and Susan LaMantia, in 2021. Opening in early June the show will run through early September and will fill three large galleries in the museum. The title is "Black, White and Read," referring to the old joke about the newspaper. Our work is a reflection and meditation on written communication, verbal and non-verbal language, and how our contemporary world continues to revolutionize and transform language, primarily through the phenomenon of digital online communication. We have created large paintings of up to 48 by 48 inches as well as smaller works and mixed media works of paper.

The artists will be available for Q and A and will also offer several workshops for the community in which we will look at non-verbal communication through the elements of art, in bookmaking, junk journals, collage and blackout poetry.
