While I painted this I was thinking of riding in the Dolomites in the Italian Alps, one of my favorite places on the planet. Bright spots of sunlight on sweeping green grass in the valleys, big sky, whipping wind – it’s a powerful place.

This is an original oil and acrylic painting, signed on the front and hand labeled on the back by the artist. It is painted on cotton canvas stretched on wood stretcher bars. The canvas is gallery wrapped, meaning that the sides are smooth and painted white. It is 1.5 inch thick, wired in the back and ready to hang.
