When I worked on this painting, I was thinking of being outside – grass and sky and shadows. When I finished it, I realized that the violet shape looked like a dog – a happy accident!

This is an original oil and acrylic painting, signed on the front and hand labeled on the back by the artist. It is painted on cotton canvas stretched on wood stretcher bars. The canvas is gallery wrapped, meaning that the sides are smooth and painted white. It is 1.5 inch thick, wired in the back and ready to hang.
