Each Boulder is a tightly packed bundle of reclaimed fabric held together with yarn wound and knotted repeatedly around it to compress the fabric. It takes a surprising amount of textiles to make a large-scale bundle. As a result, each one combines many colors and prints, and if picked up, weighs more than expected.
