"Circles" was painted at the Oil Painters of America's 2021 National Convention and Wet Paint Competition. In this competition, "Circles" won 1st Place in the Studio Division.
After bringing this piece home and refining it further, "Circles" won Best Realism Award at National Oil and Acrylic Painter's Society's Best of America's Small Works Show.
