A peaceful, remote, lake scene in early spring in BC, in shades of purple, black and green. The hills are still dusted in snow and the ice is receding on the lake. The green and mauve colours exaggerate the feeling of quiet isolation. The original painting was a custom project for a person who loved mauves and purples.
