This painting was inspired by a childhood friend whose father grows and displays prize winning roses. Her father's favourite variety of rose is called "Pink Parfait".

I was moved to try a number of different mediums and styles. Accidentally creating a series ! The series will be named and presented to my special friend in celebration of my first original painting commission.

This painting, "Pink Parfait 2", was the option selected as the finalist of the commission. The original of "Pink Parfait 2" is not available for purchase.
