I will often find a stray flower amongst the plantings in my garden which often adds beauty and interest to the display. This painting captures that circumstance, and is a light hearted, conversation piece expressing an all too common scenario.

Display in warm, contemporary, home or office environment. The colours are universally appealing and will fit into almost any decor. Will appeal to those who want something a little different.

This is one of my rare earlier paintings, which is signed “Chief G”, my nickname in the Fire Department. I now sign all my paintings “J Gjaltema” or "Jennifer Gjaltema". Collectors ?
