Portrait of Kenyan Musician/Performer "in the hood".
The original painting was prepared as a gift for my daughter's friend who lives in Kenya. He is a musician/performer of popular Kenyan music, known as "Genge Tone". He can be viewed on YouTube.
The painting is done in a "graffiti" style of painting as might be reflected on a wall in his neighbourhood in Nairobi, Kenya. The art reflects a very unique treatment of the subject's eyes, which are partially hidden behind his glasses.
