Bahri Kuu, (Swahili for Ocean), features an intuitive layering technique that radiates energy from many layers to the final image, resulting in a captivating underwater scene … and includes a subtle tribute to my favourite vacation spot.

I was inspired to create this painting, following my daughter's experiences and photographs taken during many months in Kenya.
