This spring I began new work as I prepared to show my tapestry S.O.S. in the Metropolitan Museum of Art staff show - a legendary exhibition which was open to the public for the first time. It was an incredible experience and I may write more about it in the future.
This new work is inspired by the Hilma af Klint exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum, which I saw in 2019. A tapestry idea I’ve carried in my head for years is coming to fruition and these pieces emerged along the way.
