Topographical maps are engaging to me. Concentric nesting shapes and colorful indicators of the landscape remind me that adventurous humans once watched the sun rise and set from ridges and peaks, looking beyond. The valleys may have rushed with water, filled with fish.
At times, the land was dry, and perhaps dinosaur tracks were seen with bewilderment.
There are no geolocation markers and no indicators within these images, nothing providing
compelling evidence that these are providing guidance. The imagery is instead intended to provoke introspective consideration. Are you on the right path? I think in color. I was born magenta. If we are colors, and we merge our colors as we meet and merge with others along the pathway of life, are we improving or tainting our soul color with our behavior and choices? Are we staying true to our path?
I enjoy watching relationships unfold between colors. It feels very natural. Like a gravitational pull for relationship building between colors that are meant to create a tertiary blend. Something beautiful is made by the combination of these colors.
Something magical that cannot be replicated again. It is unique and exciting. The product cannot be planned, and is often better than you can hope for. Paper and canvas are merely bystanders catching a glimpse of the action, and they become the most amazing vessels for these moments in time.
Are you a topographical map filled with beautiful colors? Have you chosen wisely?
