This piece captures morning waves after a late summer hurricane on Cape Ann, north of Boston. I was stunned by the cool clarity of the water and the gorgeous sunlight shining through it. The water had been swept clean of seaweed and debris and the air, too, seemed to sparkle with freshness. It was a magic morning.
