When I arrived at Nauset on this day in early fall, I felt pure joy at discovering I had this beautiful beach completely to myself. The day had been stormy and grey and I'd brought my camera just in case it cleared. The clouds parted to reveal the sun just as I arrived, and the sky and sea put on a spectacular show. It was like a gift.
